To Our Valued Patients,

As the COVID-19 pandemic evolves, Idaho Skin Surgery Center continues to monitor the situation to protect our patients and staff. We will remain open and screen our patients based on the urgency and necessity of your need for a face to face encounter with one of our providers. If your care is deemed a non-essential healthcare service, you will be offered a teledermatology visit or your appointment will be rescheduled to a time that we feel will be safer for you and our staff. I want to emphasize, if you are one of our many patients who are at high risk for skin cancer, or a potential new patient worried about a changing skin lesion, we are able to use telemedicine to help better evaluate and address your concern while trying to maintain everyone’s safety.

Please call us for more information about this helpful tool. In addition, due to the restrictions of social distancing and the nature of your visit, we are screening all of our patients prior to scheduling and on arrival. If you have cold or flu-like symptoms (fever, cough, shortness of breath, etc.), have travelled internationally within the last 2-3 weeks, or have come into contact with a confirmed case of the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19), your appointment will be rescheduled. Patients will be asked to wait in their vehicles to comply with social distancing. If you are accompanied by a companion(s), we will ask that they wait in the car for the duration of the appointment unless required for patient assistance.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this pandemic. We recognize the inconveniences, frustration and risks involved during this state of emergency but want to ensure you that we are doing everything we can, and following all federal and state guidelines, to provide you with superior dermatologic care. I am so grateful to be a part of this community.
